Exploitation
Being manipulated into illegal activity for someone else's benefit
Being coerced, manipulated, or deceived into carrying drugs, committing crimes, or participating in illegal activity that benefited someone else. Often involving young people or vulnerable adults who were controlled through debt, fear, or manufactured loyalty.
Being maneuvered into crimes that served someone else leaves a tangled record, sometimes literally, where your victimization looks like guilt on paper. Manufactured loyalty, debt, and fear are tools of control, and being caught by them was not a moral failure. People here can hold the whole complicated truth of it without flinching.
Nothing on this page is a diagnosis, and nothing here decides what is wrong with you, because nothing is wrong with you. Something happened to you. This page exists so that when you are ready, you can find people who understand it from the inside.
You do not have to carry this alone.
